Làm gia vị luộc gà: 3 lá nguyệt quế, 1/2 muỗng cà phê tiêu, 1 muỗng canh rượu sakê. Sau đó đổ nước vào nồi, đặt 2 ức gà vào trong, cho hỗn hợp gia vị đã làm trên vào đun sôi từ 10 đến 15 phút thì vớt thịt ra ráo nước. Đợi thịt gà nguội rồi xé sợi nhỏ.
Xà lách rửa sạch, để ráo nước rồi cắt miếng vừa ăn. Đun nước sôi với 1 muỗng cà phê muối, bông cải rửa sạch cắt miếng vừa ăn rồi cho vào luộc chín tới, vớt ra rửa lại bằng nước lạnh để bông cải giữ được màu xanh.
Làm nước sốt: cho tất cả nguyên liệu giấm, dầu ôliu, mật ong, nước cốt chanh, 1/2 muỗng cà phê muối, 1 muỗng cà phê bột ngọt, 1/2 muỗng cà phê tiêu cho vào bát nhỏ, khuấy đều.
Cho xà lách vào bát to, thịt gà ở giữa, bông cải xanh xung quanh và thêm vài quả cà chua bi bổ đôi lên trên. Trước khi ăn rưới nước sốt và thưởng thức.
