The Harris couple will bid farewell to Vice President Pence's family

Vice President-elect Harris and husband Emhoff will move his predecessor, Mike Pence, into the convoy after the inauguration.

US Vice President Mike Pence confirmed he would not attend the farewell ceremony to President Trump at Andrews military base on January 20, because he had accepted the inauguration on the same day of President-elect Joe Biden.

After the ceremony, the Pence Vice President's family will be sent off by the couple successors Kamala Harris and Doug Emhoff.

Four years ago, the Pence family, after the inauguration, saw off the Biden and his wife, when he was about to leave the White House as vice president under the Barack Obama administration.

Vice President Pence on January 19 sent his thanks to President Trump.

After the farewell ceremony at Andrews military base in Maryland, President Trump will return to the Mar-a-Lago mansion in Florida.
